This week i cried more than i have ever cried in my life. As a new (hopefully) graduate of the "PREMIER" institution of learning in the Caribbean ,war breaking out in my home land was the last thing on my mind... My immediate plans were to go home for a bit-hmmmm i lived on hall so when my contract ended on the 16th i had to leave. Oh yea back to my plans, after sending a few days or weeks at home i hoped to put my communication degree to work at a media house or in some business place- well the hunt is on but after only one interview i am not go sure. i have thought about doing some other stuff that i wont mention.
Then it happen the PM announced the he had given permission for the execution of the warrant for the arrest of Christopher "DUDUS" Coke. That announcement feel on the country like a spell and for almost a week we were under what seemed to be a dark cloud fused with pain tears and blood. Although i was far away in the S.T Elizabeth I read, listen to and watched all the stories i could about the situation. I love my country dearly but as i watched all our ugly dark secrets of over sixty years go to light I hung my head in shame not as a Jamaica but as someone who had once believed in politics and the leadership of my country.
I watched as Jamaicans both young and old strapped themselves with guns and words along party lines , community lines playing the blame game . Once again my heart broke ,as i watched the saga unfold on facebook I watched the account of a young budding politicians who i had once viewed as my future Prime Minister with disgust-all he did was blame blame the other side with out seeing that this was no longer a problem of JLP or the PNP it was a Jamaican problem that was so stink that it was going to kill us all.....
hmmmm this is just my 2 cents so now c u soon....
